Things to Do in Salem & the Surrounding Area

Salem and the surrounding Willamette Valley offer a mix of beautiful scenery, wineries, charming small towns, and iconic Oregon experiences.


Silver Falls State Park (30 minutes east of Salem)

Known as the "Crown Jewel" of the Oregon State Parks system, Silver Falls is famous for its breathtaking waterfalls and the Trail of Ten Falls, where you can actually walk behind several of the cascades. It's one of Oregon's must-see natural attractions.


Downtown Salem & Riverfront Park
